About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, and Compliance functions across our UAV manufacturing setup. This is a strategic and hands-on role that blends operational excellence with people-first leadership. The ideal candidate will drive HR systems (KEKA), strengthen organizational culture, and enable scalability as we expand our workforce across engineering, manufacturing, and R&D divisions.

Job Responsibilities

HR Operations & Policy Management
·      Oversee end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and HRMS (KEKA) administration.
·      Draft, implement, and continuously refine HR policies in alignment with company goals, legal compliance, and industry best practices.
·      Ensure adherence to statutory compliance, labor laws, and audit readiness (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.).
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
·      Partner with department heads to forecast manpower needs and develop strategic hiring plans.
·      Lead full-cycle recruitment — sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding across technical and non-technical roles.
·      Build and manage relationships with hiring agencies, institutions, and professional networks within the UAV and aerospace ecosystem.
Performance Management & Organizational Development
·      Drive the performance management process (PMS) through goal setting, reviews, and development plans.
·      Implement competency frameworks and skill development programs for engineering and operations teams.
·      Collaborate with leadership to design career progression pathways and reward systems.
Employee Engagement & Culture Building
·      Design and execute engagement initiatives that foster innovation, collaboration, and retention.
·      Conduct employee feedback programs, pulse surveys, and welfare activities to enhance workplace satisfaction.
·      Support leadership in promoting a culture aligned with company values — integrity, excellence, and accountability.
Payroll & Compliance
·      Manage monthly payroll processing via HRMS (KEKA) to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
·      Coordinate with finance and compliance teams to handle statutory submissions and reports.
·      Maintain timely and accurate employee data for audits and management reporting.

Education & Experience

·      Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
·      5+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on HR operations, recruitment, and compliance.
·      Prior experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or technology startups is a strong plus.
·      Proficiency in HRMS platforms (preferably KEKA) and payroll management.
·      Deep understanding of Indian labor laws, HR policy frameworks, and modern talent practices.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

·      SHRM / HRCI / NIPM certification or equivalent HR credential.
·      Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface across teams.
·      Hands-on experience with organizational development and performance frameworks.
·      Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
·      Data-driven approach with the ability to generate HR dashboards and analytics.

Working Conditions

·      Full-time position based in Bengaluru, India.
·      Occasional travel may be required.
·      Flexibility to support key initiatives outside standard business hours when required.
